Mary and I have worked together a couple times now. Because we don’t live in the same city, we meet over Zoom to discuss the book and how we envision it. I deliver her versions of the book to consider via a password-protected private page on my website. Mary is primarily an sculpture and installation artist, and it’s a welcome challenge and pleasure to create books that fit into her body of work.
